General VU+ Receiver Discussion Swapping hdd from duo to ultimo4k

Hi all

I had vu+duo and updated to ultimo4k.
My hdd is working fine in duo with lots of films and stuff on it.

My ultimo4k is working fine with open bh latest image.
I take out my hdd from vu+duo and installed in ultimo4k.

Problem
I CAN NOT mount the hdd in ultimo4k.
I donot want to inialise the hdd disk in ultimo4k, because I donot want to loose all my recording.

Any suggestion please

uzShould work flawlessly. I move mine between my duo2 to my UL4K without any issue all the time?


Is the STB seeing the device, i.e. is it listed under device manager at all? If yes then can you not set its mount as /media/hdd?
It is NFS formatted? Same EXT?
Do you get any error messages?

Worst case would be to either move the content to a temporary location on a PC or NAS type device like an external HDD. Then move the drive, reinitialize as you say & copy content back or get a new drive for the UL4K and do a file transfer from the Duo.
