Dish Support unicable

hi, forgive me if this is in the wrong section- i recently got a ultimo 4k after retiring the trusty solo2, so im looking for (i think) a unicable 2? lnb for it-is that right? will that be fine with my ancient sky dish or do i need a better dish? also i think the term unicable means theres only one cable coming of the lnb, is it any different to ordinary cables?
if theres only one cable do i then split it to go to the 4 connections on the vu, if so is it just ordinary splitters?.

sorry for so many questions but i cant find much info that i can understand

Unicable means exactly what you wrote on cable and it would be standard Sat cable. Sty dish is fine for 28e. If you ever consider going motorized or have already then well worth getting a 1M dish up there instead.

One tuner can handle one cable & provide up to 7 feeds from it I believe. You could also loop though to a 2nd tuner but not sure what advantage you would get by doing that.

thanks, that clears 2 things up in my head. if the ultimo4k has as standard a fbc twin tuner and i have 2 of them, does that mean i need 4 cables going into it?

Out of interest did you get the unicable LNB and set it up correxctly? I am thinking of doing same with a solo2!!
