Thanks! Can you point me to a setup guide? I have a VPN service and have installed OpenVPN on the FireTV, but can't seem to configure it.
For me i just configured my vpn as other device like you would set it up for linux, dowloaded the config files zip then extract to usb start openvpn then simply import the files & it worked out the box.
I have PIA vpn setup to just start if and when needed I.e unblock a addon in iptv player.
It's fiddly, hard to explain, needs a guide plus extensive research.

This is a good link to setting up a vpn for the VU+ Box. Make sure you have the Openvpn installed. I have tried it and it works you can only set up one opvn file at a time. When I figger out how to send multiple files I will Post.

i have just installed a vpn but do not know what i will need to do with my set up
my provider recommended i get one but now i cannot receive anything
any help please
the guide i followed was great for a beginner easy to follow
the issue i have is when i press the green button on openvpn setup it does not go into active mode yellow button ok and red removes

What Build are you using and what files did your provider send you. Send Pic of openvpnSet on your box.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I'm running an OpenVix image which has IPTV built in.
My openvpn is installed and showing as running but it's not actually working. As soon as live premier league starts all my channels are blocked but I don't know why since openvpn is running. This has previously been working with no issues and has suddenly stopped although shown as running.
Any suggestions would be great.

Is your vpn config ok?
Do you have a openvpn.log file on /etc/openvpn? If not enter "log /etc/openvpn/openvpn.log" at the end of client.conf then in terminal you can see live VPN log with: tail -f /etc/openvpn/openvpn.log and check whats going on.
