General VU+ Receiver Discussion vu duo

Hi, could anybody tell me which is the best and latest image for a clone Vu Duo, its a mate of mine who does't know anything about it and ive never had a clone before so need to be careful i believe, got a Vu Duo2 myself running Vix 4.2.026 or something like that, anyway Thanks in advance to my query........

On older machines OpenPLi is very fast & lightweight so probably his best option imo, do you know which clone version he has?
