Image Flashing Support Vu+ solo 2 se, looking for a flash for box

Hi, everybody. I'm new here & don't really know much about the vu+ series of boxes. My friend purchased a Vu+ solo 2 se box some months back but it had the kiddac build on it & tbh he didn't like it so decided to reflash it on wooshbuild v5.
It failed a couple of times but finally managed to get it to flash but when you'd setup the channel listings all the channels was black screen & the blackhole image kept showing. We don't really have a clue about images & skins n what not but was hoping somebody could help us get the box back up & running. Wooshbuild is still on the box but we have no sound on the tv or picture showing. We tried a few things , dunno what they was but the sound came on eventually but no picture still. Having messed around with the damn thing for well over 7 hours solid, we are still no further on than when we started.
Can anybody please put us out of our misery & offer any form of assistance on this please. It would be highly appreciated.

Well you got me stumped on that answer cos I still none the wiser what you mean but thanks for the speedy response anyways. Sure though, somebody must have a flash they could possibly lend us to see if we can sort the box out n least get everything back to operational terms. Like I say, when it comes to images, backups etc etc It's all jargon to us. All I know is what a flash is n you load it into box & it fingers crossed fixes it. No picture on any station but sound one min then non the next. Perhaps it's a tuner problem ? ? but why sound no pic beats me. Tearing my hair out atm, been up most the night trying to sort. doing our heads in. Please if anybody can share a flash it will be highly appreciated, thankyou
 
Hi, Think there is some info missing on this page, he can't get the freeview picture either or sound before he even put the iptv setup on. So can't have anything to do with iptv codes. But then messing around with buttons & put the iptv codes in & setup, the iptv connected to server, sound was present but no picture. That's the same for freeview
 
Already provided all the options to you I'm afraid but based on the fact that this is the 2nd similar query on wooshbuild I would suggest that it might be better to either go over to their site and ask them for a solution or try a different image as already suggested.

It's not rocket science. Just click the links and read. Then take your pick as to which image you would like to try.

PS: could it perhaps also be that you are flashing a kosher image onto a clone? :mutley:
