Run AutoBouquets & see if the epg populates on the channel after that, using my own custom list here & noticed i also need to update a few myself.

Had a bit more trouble last night. Updated TSMedia and after update I tried to 'Backup' my image. 'Vix' sent VU+ into a restart and then hung, Nothing. Tried again this morning, Blue Button, Vix, exactly the same. In the end I have re-flashed with original Ten Below Illusive XBMC and all is back as it should be again. Looks to me that the latest update of TSMedia is the problem, unless I am missing something important?? I will stick with what I have. btw, I am using Metropolis HD-Mod.5-Bay-palikao. Would this have any bearing on TSMedia??

It is possible that the skin was the problem but i would try updating TSmedia using ipk & force overwrite method rather than online update. Another reason it may fail would be the VIX feeds being unavailable at the time if extra dependencies are required with the latest version.

but i have two questions(1) (how do i con fig plex on my macpro to dreamplex on vu+solo2)
(2)(is there any way to permanently turnoff narrator ) as every time i change channel i have to turn off narrator man

1. Menu >Setup >System >Audio Language Selection
Change 'prefer audio track stored by service' to NO and green button to save.
2. I dont own a Mac but once you have setup plex on it configuring the plugin should be the same as shown here.

Sorry Ten. I did get back to you about DMax but forgot to press "Post Reply". Yes it does. I have now updated your image to latest Vix, via Software Update, and all is working, XEPG, EPG etc, etc. I will have to bite the bullet, one day and really give BH or ATV a proper go. But as long as the Mrs. is happy I will leave well enough alone.

Just a thought are you trying to stream one channel while watching another, if so are they paid or FTA & which emu are you using if paid?

Good morning gentlemen, and ladies if we have any, a small question.
Using Ten Below's Illusive Vix-XBMC Image. All backed up.

Last night we had a power cut, (overhead cables), and of course everything shut down. When power came back on I checked STB, TV etc and found I had lost all the EPG on all channels. I tried to re-load the EPG but nothing Cccam not working. Sussed out my Router was off, re-booted and got it up and running. I have not noticed this happening in the past. My question is has anybody experienced anything/something like this, and should any image hold its program?? I also have 'Antisurge 8Way Power Guards, on PC equipment and TV/SS equipment, in case of any disasters. btw, everything is back as it was.

If i disconect my STB from power for a few minutes and reboot, then my epg data are still there. But if i disconect my STB from power for much longer i got the same issue and i have to download the epg date again.

Same all over. If you are using CrossEPG you can hit the force reload option.

Before using xmlimporter I used to often find if I did another GUI restart the EPG came back by itself.

None of it is an exact science but in this regard CrossEPG has the distinct advantage of having a force EPG reload option but the disadvantage of inconsistency and being dreadfully slow downloading and processing. Not a really a big issue if one has a schedule set that actually works.

So for those having issues, CrossEPG may be a good option to consider if one can get it to work properly.
