FTP & Other Tools vucc will not connect to solo2

Hi, I have had to reflash my vu+ box, solo2. Using the open BH v1 image. Everything was ok, last night, I was able to set up my cam via vucc. I reflashed as I had a kodi issue. Anyway today I tried to use vucc, cannot connect, 'access violations'. I have tried using dcc, it sees the receiver, but will not connect. I have reflashed the image a few times and reset the router. still the same issue. There are a few questions on the internet regarding the same issue, no complete answer. Help

Which version of DCC? I found simillar with the latest versions so try the attached file.

Dcce2 in german. I know there is a way to get in English but could not work it out. Ensured that I had a network link to the receiver and restarted Vucc, still execution violation. For some reason, I removed the word root from the username box, tried it again, no go. I then re-typed root in the username box, and tried again, CONNECTED! don't know why. Was able to use FTP to remove kodi off my HDD. Tried Kodi launcher, krypton 17.0, it works, but I think kodi is very fickle. Thanks, I think this thread can now be closed.
