I installed Kodi Pli image by dirty donki. I guess u are right my internal flash is starting to slow down. Is it possible to use usb now after the fact the image was installed. In my /home/root I have .kodi folder, can u please advise on how to move or what to move to usb? thanks

Use Dreambox Explorer to move it across.

Highlight the folder and then press Yellow. Select the destination = root of USB. Press Move. Job done.

Don't forget to mount USB as HDD or better still why not install a small HDD instead?

If you can use Windows Explorer it it is even easier but you will have to map a drive to root first.

should I delete the .kodi folder in /home/root after transfer to usb has been done. thanks

If you move it as I suggested in post #2 you should not need to worry about this point but if you copy it accross then yes you will then have to delete the source folder else you will gain nothing.

I would also suggest you keep a separate backup of your stuff somewhere safe so that you can always recover if stuff breaks.

just curious when u have ,kodi on runing on usb, is the processing speed faster on vuduo2 or the same, thanks
No idea m8. I don't use a USB stick for Kodi because I have a SHD installed in my Duo2. I only ever look at stat's if something is broken. :D

That said I wouldn't expect there to be much difference but maybe slightly slower. Speed will depend on the R/W capability of the USB stick being used.
