VU+ Plugins - Streaming & IPTV Best Image for IPTV

Ive read that OpenPLI is the best image for viewing IPTV channels natively and not using 3rd party software, Is this true? Ive noticed when I have used PLI that I would sometimes see a % buffer indicator when changing channels Ive not seen on other images.
