VU+ Kodi Support Kodi 17 - Skin Shortcut fix on enigma2

I come across this and have tested by making some own builds and also installing

mega wookie build and few others to test.

Once installed, then

open a putty / SSH session and type

opkg install python-profile

You will then not get skin shortcut error, well I havent so far, but this also means you would now be able to edit tabs/sub menus/adjust builds/make your own across many skins.

I run an Edision OSMega with Openvix. I have Kodi17 on it.
I'm trying to install the Sportsmania Skin but it always reverts back to default skin...
I tried your suggest above but still no joy... any idea's?

The idea above has no relevance for installing a skin, it's to fix an error.


But for sportsmania, just make sure addon and wizard are enabled.

Go to

My Addons - look and feel - skin - choose the skin it uses - normally aoen box I think then click use and try that

I have always used android box for kodi and the wookie build just makes using it soo easy and user friendly. Bought a VU+ Solo 4k so I did not have to have 2 boxes, one for sat and for for Kodi but this skin error issue is a real pain.

Could you just explain (in idiots terms) what this fix and how to apply it?

The idea above has no relevance for installing a skin, it's to fix an error.
