Can I ask where have you seen kodi 17 on enigma2? what box and where abouts as intrigued.

I have seen a video by OpenATV which shows a beta on some Mutant box.

But havent seen Kodi 17 on anyones box across forums, not that I have been searching ah

I don't think there is a version for vusplus 4k versions yet we shall have to wait for one to be made unless you have Ubuntu os to make one

Kodi 17 is only BETA at the moment, so you have to wait.

I can confirm that Kodi 17 RC 1 is on OpenSPA latest, I just flashed my vusolose with it.

It works well based on quick test (playback wise) not stability

I have PM you, I found what OpenATV said about Vu+ and that why testing for OpenATV was on new Edison Mega OS

"Edision with the Mega adheres halt to GPL and makes changes to the source Kodi Public, vu and co halt not,
currently this is so much work that is announced yet, let's see the developed here in which direction.

Native Player Support is to come that is still a challenge with it lives or dies dies everything.

So be patient and wait."

I have had Kodi 17 since yesterday but didn't want to brag too much about it.

RC1 & already told update to RC3 available on first run.

Be aware the update to Spa 6.0.12 does not automatically update Kodi. You have to reinstall it via the plugins but they tell you that in the update notes anyway if you can be bothered to read them.

Not that I've updated to Kodi 17 yet, but it would be good to know for when I do.

I never read update notes. It's a really boring, bad habit.

OpenVIX 4.1 With Kodi 16.1 01/05/2016

No reason the same install method wont work again but not important for me as a fully working iptv player is way more useful on vu+ machines than kodi.
