Hi everybody,

I have a vu+solo 2 with the latest blackhole image, the problem is that i didn't find anyway to drag the m3u file to KODI. there are many tutorials online but when i try them after enabling the pvr i don't have any option to import the m3u. and when i try to import from a zip file it says failled to install... !

Anyone of you is able to give a short tutorial to make it ?

Thanks

ftp an M3U file to say /bin

Then just use mediaplayer plugin to play IPTV.

click media player, then inside that parent directory then /bin then playlist.m3u (example)

Then all your iptv channels will come up in media player.

Thanks for the answer danny187.
I managed to play the list through Media Player following your instruction. But it switch to the next channel after 30 seconds? Any idea ?

You could be on an OLD image, see a few on ones like Helios or Apollo have issues with IPTV.

What image you using? and what box?

Thanks for your reply. My image is BH3.02, the last one. My STB is VuSolo2, original.
I used to play the file on my home pc, with VLC. It was the same, but VLC has one feature to stop it and the problem was solved.
Let me clarify also that this is a m3u file I got from someone else, who was offering it free in another forum

try IPTVBOUQUET plugin by pcd, here is some instructions I did for openvix/openatv 5.3, but would be similar for blackhole I imagine.

based in my VU on latest openatv, both IPTV and VOD working from bouquets.

Here is what I did.

Menu
Plugins
Download (green)
Extensions
IPTVBOUQUET by pcd– download IF NOT IN PLUGIN MENUS, DOWNLOAD THEN MANUALLY INSTALL IPK On file zilla, put that ipk in

var/volatile/tmp then close filezilla

Then Menu - setup - VIX - install local extension - then install the IPTV bouquet IPK.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If using Openvix
Menu
Setup
System
Channel selection settings
Enable unlinked bouquets – change to YES
Green to save

If using OPENATV its

Menu
Setup
Usage and GUI
Channel selection settings
Enable unlinked bouquets – change to YES
Green to save
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then on filezilla

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVbouquet/channels

Put your IPTV M3U in there, but rename and have .txt at end rather than .m3u

Example

playlist.txt instead of playlist.m3u

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then on Sat box

Menu
Plugins
IPTVBOUQUET
Find your playlist.txt and press green to INSTALL to bouquets

Then

MENU
STANDBY
RESTART GUI

It placed the TWO iptv bouquets at top, so I rescanned channels and places bouquets back at bottom.
