Hi to all the learned people on this forum, as I'm considering buying a Vu+ Solo with 2 tuners and being a Newbie I am trying to read as much as possible about this box on the forum. As this box seems so capable off doing so much I find it a bit difficult to understand which image, which add-ons is it difficult to setup? I would be very grateful if any of the members could help me decide and maybe a helping hand on how to set-up this fine bit of kit.

Many thanks in advance

If 2 tuners is all you need and you can stretch I recommend going for the series 2 version over the original Solo or even the new 4K which should offer some future proofing.

As for difficulty. It's only difficult until you know how and nothing about flashing an image falls into the category of 'rocket science'. Also, as William has already stated, there are loads of resources here and plenty of willing members to help.

I would start with a backup image and learn the ropes from it because it will be more or less all ready to run.

Happy viewing...... :D
