Sorry to ask how do you get the Xbmc BBc itc to work.

XBMC addons are stored on your hdd so none are included with any vu+ backup but if you have it installed it will appear under videos/addons in XBMC.

Found a problem every time I try to record to HD the Image crashes. checked all the Paths there Ok..

I don't have that problem with it, could you upload a crashlog buddy & ill see if i can work out what's happening.

The problem I get is. I go to EPG to select the Channel I want to record and select the programme and highlight the film etc I want. Then I go to the record button and press to save and Record. Then the Image crashes. I have checked the HDD pathways they are ok. Not sure what a crash buddy is.

On the root of the hard disk there will be crashlog files. Just upload the latest one here.

The problem I get is. I go to EPG to select the Channel I want to record and select the programme and highlight the film etc I want. Then I go to the record button and press to save and Record. Then the Image crashes. I have checked the HDD pathways they are ok. Not sure what a crash buddy is.

I think i have seen this before Try changing the skin to the default OpenBH skin & see if the problem remains.

Short Answer - No, closest there is for solo is Black Pole.

If you want the fancier images and plugins, then you need to update to a receiver that is still supported. VU+ stopped producing updates for solo some time ago.
