How to enable OpenWebif
first enable http auth in the plugin settings.





Next connect with telnet & create a new user.

adduser tenbelow -h /dev/null -H -s /bin/false -G root

Above tenbelow is the username, change this to whatever you want.
You will be asked to enter & confirm a password then can connect with the created details.

If you make a mistake the user can be deleted with this command.

userdel tenbelow

To save having to do this again if you reflash create a settings backup.
Menu >Setup >AutoBackup then press yellow to backup settings

On Solo2 Primary & Secondary DNS keep reverting to 0.0.0.0 obviously causing connection/downloads problems.
User Interface keeps disactivating.

I got the same it does work but there seems to be an extra layer of security added, first enable http auth in the plugin settings.

The openwebif is currently an older version due to reported bugs on PLi but i have upgraded to the latest & all seems ok so far.
To upgrade to the latest replace the OpenWebif folder in usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions with the attached.
