Open Multiquickbutton and play in there until you have it customized to suite your requirements.

was curious. tried online software update for this image. Everytime I did that my system crashed. Any suggestions. thank you

This image has made my box way unstable, 2 crashes during yesterday and woke up this morning and it was frozen from last night at 23:12, wont let me restore my old image just giving me error timeout. Keep getting that black screen with writing when im trying to change the lcd screen cause that vuimage keeps popping up every 20 secs or so and is annoying when watching something in the dark, same screen when im going into network sertings too.

Hi, I am a newbe on this subject hence any help from anyone is very welcome. I am unable to connect (ftp using FlashFXP) to the vu+ duo2 box after installing this image which i managed to do before! Is this a co-incidence or am i missing something?

Have you seen the Credentials paragraph at the bottom of post #1?

I have flashed the image, working fine, but what I have notice. when I press the outter round button, up/down on the remote to select the TV channels, I get the sub folder, and their names eg movies, sports. I have to press the centre bottons again on the remote to see the tv list, eg BBC1, BBC2.

I have to press the centre bottons again on the remote to see the tv list, eg BBC1, BBC2.

That is the way ViX have set the buttons up I'm afraid so I leave them alone as most, if not all ViX users, will expect the buttons to work this way.

One can reassign the buttons via the options under the setup menu system. I don't use ViX so can't recall exactly where from memory but the option to reassign is there.

That is really weird. I use the same settings and do not see such happening. Might be worth getting and installing the most recent settings from 21.08:

You are using rytec uk xml for crossepg, change this to opentv 28.2e or forget crossepg and use xmltv importer instead & it will display as normal.

this one seems stable, love the bootup screen, love the skin, oscam just works, blind scan works.
