No but i did make a 4.2 backup here,

This one was made only for people wanting to try kodi 17, only the listed items were added.

Ten I have a problem when i am setting up Tuner Configuration i have no drop down menu when i select diseqc 1.1 as a result i cannot get a signal.I tried another backup and no problem

I haven't used it much yet but not found any problems so far, @danny187 is the man to ask.

Depends what you mean by stable?

I literally have only Addons that I would use ( I have a thread for some some good ones) it's plays most of them all fine 1080p 5.1 audio h2.64 (as my box ain't got h.265 coded)

Watched x 2 HD USA streams for footy earlier without an issue.

Is it as good as on my nvidia shield? No way, does it have pvr clientss? Nope

But it runs most of Addons I use pretty well considering it compiled version for enigma 2.

killall kodi.bin

Command above in telnet if Kodi ever freezes, takes you back to plugin menu.

So far it runs more formats than Kodi 16.1rc but even that's cool addition to a sat box.

i take away all menus, keep Addons limited, I do same on other Kodi versions also.

But best way is in my opinion is.
Backup your current image.
Install this backup.
Install your main addons in kodi, set the menu up so its streamlined looks good (can change to other skins in INTERLACE settings)
Then try for yourself.

All this sort of stuff is trial and error, but I feel it works ok and alongside iptv player pre configured, your pretty much covered for media ha.


I stay away from "builds", normally manually install then can judge what works well and what don't

Check your hdd is mounted properly & has sufficient free space.

Also turn off any smart setups on router? i.e bt smart setup, sky shield, Vermin websafe.

If Kodi 17 als, you need to enabled unkown sources in settings.

But, how to change the player in Kodi ? Indeed, It's impossible to read some IPTV stream with Falcon movies, Supertuga or Logan TV.
do you have a solution for that ?

Hold OK on stream or press menu or text which brings up context menu and then press play using and try a different player.

I play all streams via MEDIA player as external player (thinks that E2 player) but some addons may not work depending on format.

No, it doesn't work. test also with openvix with kodi 16.1 and same result. I suppose that the issue is due to the F4mtester add-on, it doesn't work with kodi on vu solo2. But on my Mac mini or android tab, no problem....strange

Then on main screen goto MYADDONS- then say video Addons then click on each one and click enable
