How do. I change the custom screen image on the lcd? Not the picon.

Thanks, it has now been moved into the backup images for the DUO2 section. I was tired last nite.

If you want to change lcd screens then go Menu-Setup-System-User Interface-Display-LCDLinux. Press Blue to go to the next config screen & scroll down to where the paths for each picture is. From there you can select the current entry and browse to the picture of your choice which you will already have uploaded first of course.

You can also configure this on your computer via the Web interface using your favorite browser.

I have been meaning to get my ATV one out there so guess doing a BH & even one for VTi wouldn't hurt either.

Sadly, ATV is so damned good that it's hard to get motivated to work on or use anything else.

Id say its should (SHOULD not WILL ) still ok, but before doing any updating or amending of anything in your image you should always make a backup! I doubt XBMC Plugins have been added to the feeds yet?

As your Duo2 is original you need have no fear and can use the 'Software Update' facility as & when you like but TBH I hardly ever bother unless I hear there are major changes that make updating worthwhile.

I seem to recall it is already built into BH but no matter, you can't go wrong and will get the latest version if you download the one in the BH feeds.

The ViX version comes already installed with the image. So I did not install it myself but merely used it to generate the channel list for 28E. So as I have already gone back to using ATV I cannot easily check which version is on it. As we are not discussing clones perhaps Pheonix (TonTon, Faray or Macltd) can answer.

As far as I know it was started by Lraizer/and possibly one of Vix Team. As it was an OE Alliance addon, each team has taken the addon and amended it to fit with their flash files. From what ive seen, its possible to get the same result with them just each has a slightly different UI.

Why not try Catseye's settings they pretty much cover everything and unlike Vhannibal, on which they are based, are customized for the UK. I think he also does a UK based version as well.
