vu+ remote 'dead'

Was working earlier, now ive attempted to use my vu+ remote and its dead, no flashing light no nothing even with new batteries.

Any suggestions?

How many remotes have you tried altogether & on which box?

If more than one remote could be an issue with the image flashed or box might need full reset by disconnection of power.

I get this sometimes so I just turn the box off and on again and as if by magic it works.

I only have the one remote on duo2

I checked the battery connections all seemed fine, took it apart, couldn't see anything after I put it together one of the battery connections had not slotted back in correctly so i corrected it and now it works, no clue what it was but glad its working lol
