VU+ Kodi Support VU+ Solo SE -Black Hole 2.1.7- XBMC 13.2 script errors with add-on installations

Hi,

I've recently flashed Black hole 2.1.7 over open pli. And now i'm trying to install some add-ons, but every time i got a script failure error.
I tried different sources like Fusion, SuperRepo, but during the installation every time I get the same Errors.
With the installation for example plugin.programm.addoninstaller (Fusion) I'm getting a installation failure.
The installation of plugin.video.hubwizard (Fusion) goes well, but when I open the wizard and try to install the Linux TVAddons.ag add-on selection I get a script failure.

I've flashed Black hole again, but stil the same errors.

Can you please advise me on this?

Try using the forums repository (link in my signature below).

If still the same then look here but be warned XBMC does not run on Vu+ boxes as it does on PC so there are bound to be some things that don't work as expected.

Thanks for your reply. I've looked at both links.
For the first Link: I haven't got a HHD drive in my VU+ only the map Hardrive is next to the Configuration map, but it's ofcourse emty.
Is there another location where I can place the Files? Or is the only other option mounting a USB stick because I've no idea how to do this...

Or should I just go for your second advise/link and install the FIX: python-pkgutil_2.7.9-r1_mips32el.ipk. And than follow the instructions for the hubwizard?

Haven't tried running xbmc on an external mount or usb myself but if you do you will need to make sure the device is mounted as /media/hdd before running xbmc for the first time, keep us updated please.

Thanks for your reply. As said I've no idea how to mount the usb so I tried some other things.

I just installed some repositories from Fusion and installed the Add-ons one by one and no script errors came up. But when I installed the plugin.video.hubwizard and the plugin.programm.addoninstaller the same problem occurs...script errors. From that point I was'nt able to install anything anymore without script errors.
So I think the problem lies in the plugin.video.hubwizard and the plugin.programm.addoninstaller. I've tried it with the BlackHole 2.1.6 and with 2.1.7. And in both versions its the same problem. So for me the solution is to not install the plugin.video.hubwizard and the plugin.programm.addoninstaller and just install all the add-ons one by one via different repositories.

But now I've problems with the Media Player which doesn't always start up and jams/quits. But thats for another Thread.

Don't think Black Hole with Xbmc is going to work for me on my VU+.

ray did you ftp it to you temp folder then install in addons ipk folder
