Hi having trouble with epg it's not updating, when I go in to crossepg downloader I'm getting "timeout for tuner lock" am I missing some thing or is there an issue ?

You don't say what you are trying to update. Which Sat/Provider but what you are reporting points at an issue with the or lack of signal on transponder CrossEPG is trying to get updates on.

Been a lot of updates lately on 28E especially. Check you have signal & that your channel list is up to date.

Thanks for reply got 99/98% signal and got latest catseyes 22 june got few channel on epg but only about 10% anf yes it is 28.2

A lot has changed since 22 Jun. I think the latest cats are 14 Jul . You can download them here.

Or you could try the Vuplus-Images Settings (updated yesterday) here.

I'd give those settings a try but as you are only after 28E I suspect you are using openTV? You could try the one under the XMLTV Providers - Rytec UK XMLTV feed instead to see if that works instead. If it does then the issue is defo your channel list.

I've been running this image for about two weeks now and I'm really happy with, it works great. I'm still trying to figure out the relationships between files for the bouquets but have got a workable solution that mimics sky program numbers 101=BBC etc. I really love the tinkering but I'm struggling to find the right documentation for things. The forums are great but I feel I'm missing something in terms of official documents and api references etc. To give an example I have installed the autotimer plugin via opkg which is version:

enigma2-plugin-extensions-autotimer - experimental-git20110215-r10-bh3

This works great as a plugin but it doesn't integrate well with OpenWebif, for instance when you select settings in OpenWebIf for Autotimer it is using a url

which no longer exists. I appreciate the fact that these versions are out of sync with each other but I would like to dig a little deeper. Are there reference guides, api references and or wikis that I am missing ? any resources you guys are aware of I would really appreciate. I've used the forum loads to help me with specific issues but would also like some general subject matter reading if that makes sense ?
