Hi, last update on this image, problems with dtt in italy ... black screen and emu not working .... with iptv and sat all ok .... i put old backup with the same settings and everything went back to work ... Gold are upgraded by March 2017 .... could be a skin problem ... hello

No the image is not released but is open source so can be built by anyone just the same as the many PLi 5.0 builds you can find on almost every sat board. Treat this as an experimental/unofficial release which will only be supported by vuplus-images but it will be kept up to date with the official git so users can keep it up to date via online update using the custom feeds.

Try using this instead of DCC

I found alot of the latest images do not work well with DCC but going back to DCC version 1.41 seems to be ok.

Managed to do it now, thinks its a great image mate, ive been trying to setup cable setup for days on other BH images, this is all there , makes it easier for us novices, thanks

I am having an issue that could do with some expert attention.
Im using this image and have set AUTOBUQ up, ive done a scan usning AUTOBUQ , cable channels found, however there is a drop in signal which causes freezing. Ive checked cable signal and it keeps dropping.
When i use Vermin pure area and then scan automatically i get a solid signal but i cant get 60 percent of chanels.

Anyone have any idea ? is DVB snoop needed ? or am i missing something ?

Am loving this image (coming from OpenBH 0.4) and have it largely how I like. However, I cannot get OpenWebIF to stream. I have changed my streaming port in the addon and required HTTP authentication (through a new user and password - since the user/password I had been using seems to have been deleted on flashing this image). OpenWebIF from my PC will open, show EPG and show the transcoded stream, however the normal stream just errors with "Your input can't be opened:VLC is unable to open the MRL 192 . . . .".

I am baffled. I am using the same ports that I have always used. Is there something in the setup that I am missing?

1 - What are you trying to stream? A Cable channel? If so do you have two cable tuners availible and does your peer allow two feeds?
2 - Was it working in the last OpenBH you was using?


In any event - I found the Open Alliance version of OpenWebIF on their Github page and downloaded the latest version for you...

You can install by uploading to your vu+ box via FTP and then

via the menu options or via the shell prompt using

1. Solo2 is twin tuner (dish) and both are in use and I cannot stream any channel - including FTA
2. Yes it was fully working with OpenBH 0.4

OpenWebIf 1.2.5 was installed with this image (should be fine) but I copied 1.2.7 to /temp and went to install from within the box (green>yellow). Unfortunately that crashed and deleted the previous version. Then my problems really started since it appears I cannot find the backup I was certain I had taken (should be on the USB but only OpenBH 0.4's are there), so I need to start again when I get time. Will get back when back up to trying OpenWebIf.

Reinstall OBH 0.4 take a plugins backup that can then be applied on top of OBH 1.0, I assume its an option in OBH not used it really so not sure... That should get you to about where you are now.

OK, I have started again - minimal build (no Kodi etc) but OpenWebIF now works!! Don't know what my problem had been, but it has now gone - so onwards and upwards. Banny thanks for your help. I will only repost if any further problems.

Didn't take long to run into another (hopefully last) problem.Using Crossepg the list of providers is very short, so trying to Update Providers I get the dreaded "Unable to retrieve rytec sources" message. I remember this from many moons ago but cannot remember how we sorted it then - but I thought we were past that now. Anybody know how to update the rytec sources list (or is it just a temporary server down)?

i would suspect it would be :8888 but the best way to find out would be to look in oscam.conf.

Such a great image but still one major problem for me. It´s the same as OPI images, the CI in does not work with theese images. A real shame. As soon as they work i´m on theese images.
