   TV5Monde has almost tripled its reach in Russia following a multi-year agreement with Tricolor TV.
   
   As a result of the deal, it added 10.9 million pay-TV subscribers and now reaches over 15.4 million households.
   
   TV5Monde has been subtitled in Russian since 2008 and became available in Tricolor TV’s United package since last month.
   
   Commenting on the deal, Jean-Luc Cronel, its worldwide distribution & marketing director, said: “We are delighted to have reached this agreement with Tricolor TV that completes our existence within the pay-TV offerings of the country and reinforces our positioning in the Russian audiovisual landscape.”
