VU+ Kodi Support Will XBMC work with Vix?

Hello,

I have XBMC already in my plugins. I am using Ten Below Backup Vix 3.2 Image. I cannot 'Addon' any film streamers, ie; 1Channel, Movie25 etc. Will this vix Image, on my VU+Solo2, allow me to add to addons? Also how do I update XBMC. I have looked/searched but I think I am missing something, (DER), and also noticed in one post XBMC not available for Vix Image, .

Any help/guidance appreciated.

Hello Ten. No, but Xbmc, when I select from 'Plugins' nothing, just a blank screen and I have to switch off, (at the back), the stb and then on again to get the stb to work.. Everything else works. Will XBMC work with your Image? If not I might have to try another image. I did try VTI but prefer Vix. Is ATV, backup or original still working? I think I read somewhere that ATV are not supporting VU+ Solo2's, confused.

Both OpenATV & VIX woking with XBMC, it is the latest OpenHDF that VU+ do not support on the Solo2 so think that is what you read earlier.

XBMC should work on all the popular latest versions. So yes even ViX have caught up.

If you had XBMC working on your previous image then it should continue working no matter which image you flash provided it is XBMC capable.

Might be worth making sure you got the right ViX version and try flashing again or try Ten's latest ViX 3.2 Backup to save you loads of time & headaches.

I have Ten's Vix 3.2 Backup installed, but all I get is a 'player', no Addons will download, er one's I want anyway. movie25, icefilms etc or adult. I will re-flash 3.2 backup again and go from there. :wot:

I have re-flashed Ten Below's Vix 3.2 Backup but still unable to download any addons. Seems that the XBMC, in 'Plugins' is XBMC Launcher. Is it possible to change this version to a full version??

XBMC Launcher is the native vuplus xbmc version i usually use, are you using something different?

Marysia, my wife says, "How can I have a Blonde Moment with a lack of hair?" lol.

My mistake I have since found out that I have to setup XBMC. Everything works as it should, it is me that is still trying to run before I can walk properly. (I need a good kicking). In the process of setting up XBMC and add what I want to watch. Many, many thanks Ten for a superb image.

Well DD and Ten, I have finally downloaded and installed several Video Streamers and I am happy to say that all is running well. Only one more thing, , I have put in some working 'proxys' but a couple are not recognised. Is it possible that I can get into the settings, of said no working/recognised and change thaem in any way. Movie25 for instance. O is there an XBMC Guide I can follow.

Hold hard, I have just found the answer to my question: "VU+ XBMC Tutorials" working proxys XBMC/KODI, 3rd post by Ten, " Just change the default urls to the ones supplied, e.g 1Channel etc, etc.

Some of the proxies ending pw no longer work but I think I updated them a week or so ago by substituting pw for pe.
