hi I have been having a problem with my xbmc crashing on start up for the last few weeks, it started when I installed the latest vix image, I have tried different images from scratch and factory resets, but haven’t been able to get it to start up, I then tried a backup image today( OPEN ATV - 5.1 VU + SOLO 2 (oryginalna SET TOP pudełek) )
przeztytus 56
and xbmc works on this back up, so i tried a vix image again and it crashed again, although this back up is very good i would like to now if there is a fix for this any help would be greatly apreciated
thanks

The problem is plain:
Code:

Not seen this before myself but Google comes up with several links
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
.

My gut is telling me a directory, possibly on system mount, might be missing or inaccessible (permissions?).

General consensus from threads I have looked at seems to point at an outdated version which is not really relevant for the Vu+ version.

One suggestion from one of those is:
Backup your userdata directory and then remove the guisettings.xml.

See if that helps.

hi i would like to say thank you for looking at my crash logs and giving me a better idea whats wrong, i have tried removing the guisettings.xml. but its just the same. what i cant understand xbmc works on the backup image by ( ( OPEN ATV - 5.1 VU + SOLO 2 (oryginalna SET TOP pudełek) )
przeztytus 56 ). so there cant be that much wrong, i have been trying now for about 3 weeks and just going to give it another go this weekend, if i find any solution i will post back
