Just installed your back up in Flash...ok great back up .. thanks.

Problem:
I have OPENATV in open multiboot...works fine apart from the WLAN connection.....When I scan wireless ....non is found...
If I install OPENATV in flash ...when I scan wireless ....all is found.
I install any other image in flash...when I scan wireless ....all is found.
This was the same on BH 217 and earlier..
Is there any addon that will force the WLAN search.....

Update to last post...left it searching for 10 minutes....it has found 6......non of which are mine...:wot:

Very odd indeed that it works in flash but not multiboot but this is certainly not unique as I have experienced, in the past, that some features on images work perfectly if the image is in flash but not so when the image is run via multiboot.

What is most annoying about this thread is that I have just booted back to ATV in flash after having looked at another BH issue but will boot back now and see what I get.

OK, seems it was a deliberate omission. I have now installed it and updated the image in post #1. Also updated the channel list & did an online update 30.11.2015.

'Black Hole Full Image Backup' does not work. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future online update.

Workaround is to use the 'Backup to HDD' Plugin under Plugins.

Had some success with a manual installation but it then appeared to work ok but on navigation threw up a weird error on the web i/f every time one clicked on an option.

If you unpack the transmission ipk then look at the control file you will see what it needs,
Depends: update-rc.d, libevent (>= 2.0.10), libcurl4 (>= 7.19.7), libc6 (>= 2.10), libgnutls26 (>= 2.4.2), libgcrypt11 (>= 1.4.4), libgpg-error0 (>= 1.4), libssl0.9.8 (>= 0.9.8j), libcrypto0.9.8 (>= 0.9.8j), libz1 (>= 1.2.3)

I was able to pull most of these from the VTi feeds on my Solo2.

There is a bug/clash with mymetrix skin & cooltv guide that has existed for some time now, either remove the mymetrix cool tv skinpart addon or simply change to using a different skin of your choice.
