Glad you have managed to find another option.

Very odd that ViX refused to work for you because if Kodi failed to run on it and yet now runs OK on ATV then there is something :fish: going on as they are both identical in install & config.

I just had another ViX & can confirm that for me the image flashed perfectly for me and runs everything on it (incl. Kodi). :wot:

I think that after using ATV you probably won't want to go back to ViX.

Hekllo friends ..I still have a problem wit transfers ftp ..cant connect with the details root ...dreambox credentials on the vix image ..I tried everything reboot dcc and putty is there a way to sort the problem thank you ...

Crossed wires here methinks.

Credentials
1. FTP & Telnet Password: vuplus-images - Putty, DCC, Dreamboxedit & everything else etc etc.
2.Transmission User:root Password:dreambox - Transmission is only for the torrent download web interface.

You need 1 but are trying to use 2.

I'm going to update post one so that there is no further confusion over this.

Hi,
Have used this back up image for a month, great imagecould not fault it but now my Vu Duo 2 box has developed a strange problem, it keeps turning off for no reason, does anyone have any ideas what the problem can be.

1. Do you have autoshutdown? If yes check the configuration or better still uninstall it & see if that fixes it.
2. If not backup your current image so you can return to it at a later time if you so desire
3. Flash another image eg OpenATV
4. See if this fixes the problem
5. If not you may have a hardware fault either internal to the Vu+ or externally.

Hi do you first have to install open vix image from openvix,afterwards re-image your receiver with this back-up. Or can you clean install from this back up?
