Hi do you first have to install open vix image from openvix,afterwards re-image your receiver with this back-up. Or can you clean install from this back up?

Just flash this image the same way as you would any regular release, this is a full backup so no need to install the vix image first buddy.

Kodi is always installed on your HDD so not part of any image & remains the way you had it configured no matter which image you flash, adding this makes installing the addons you want simple.

Kodi launcher is installed in the plugins so if you have used kodi on your vu+ before then the installation will still be there configured as you had it before but if not then kodi will be installed to your HDD the first time you attempt to run it from the plugins menu.
