When I with re-flashed OpenATV 5 and reinstalled the folder, it seems that navi-x is already upgraded to 4.0, given that this is a backup, it may avoid this from happening.

If anyone experiences this go to uninstall navi-x, it doesn't actually uninstall it downgrades it back to 3.8 and navi-x works again.

Just thought it worth mentioning just in case.

Wish I had known about this yesterday. Might actually do that now and also set a root password otherwise people may start having other issues like not being able to use FTP.

Todays update of OATV 5 automatically installs dependencies for plugins from a settings backup yesterdays doesn't, perhaps this is what causes NAVI-X to autoupdate, it recreates the XBMC folder on the on the hdd, which is why I re-installed the xbmc noobies folder.

Thanks for reporting this which enabled me to troubleshoot & repair the issue. Have replaced the image in post #1 with an updated version that now also has the root password set as indicated above.

Now that you have ATV on your machine you will be hard pressed to find a better image.

ATV is the one I always find myself coming back to............:dance3:

The XBMC version is correct buddy, it will only be updated when VU+ themselves get round to it all images currently use this version.

As XBMC has changed its name to Kodi I added Kodi to sort of prompt things along a bit but see that this just confuses folks so have removed the reference again.

They are also as up-to-date as I am aware they can be but no one & nothing is perfect
