Notes
Samba is currently not working in this build.
Solo2 & Ultimo4k tested, please let us know if problems on other models.
These builds use custom feeds so not to be confused with an official HDF release.

How to access iptv bouquets

For those want to use SAMBA but cannot get it to work this fixed it for me.

Makes sure SAMBA is installed.
Set it to autostart
Then copy the config in the attachment over to:
Code: 
/etc/samba/
Do a full restart and bob should be your aunty.

Thanks very much for the image and samba file. I would like to know if the feature of “Change Name & Description” in Timer Recording work, as the original doesn’t.

Timers are something i rarely use so please explain where this option is so i can check?
The last HDF release for newer models was 5.2 so worth noting there is no original release of this image for your box, guess i will need to update the bootlogo to make this more clear. :lol:

Hi Ten Below, thanks very much for the speedy reply!

It is a feature in Timer Recording, let me give an example,

1. Go to Graphical Epg

2. Select any show that wan to record and press the green button (Add Timer)

3. Once in the Timer page, on the 4th item, “Repeat type”, select “repeated”

4. you will see a new item pop-up which the 8ththat say “ Change name & description for new events” and select “yes”

This feature is very helpful for people like me that had standard timer recording for Tv series daily. When the present tv series finishes, a new series will continue to be recorded, and the name of this new serie will be listed correctly in movies folder. So when I am in the movie folder, the name listed will be the correct name of the Tv Series.

I had this original image in another Stb which is not Duo2, is a sad thing that they don’t make the image for this Stb. But we are very fortunate to have you producing it, very grateful to all of you Masters.

Just put on openmultiboot.

I changed few things, to suit myself, I removed all bouquets on there already, run AUTOBOUQUETS E2.

Installed Kodi 17.3, played a hd stream, messed about a bit.

All worked fine on Vu+ Uno4k.

Will backup my OpenATV 6.0, then add this in flash and add IPTV also see how it performs.

I cannot seem to find how to assign/change hotkey setup on this image.

My brain hurts, any ideas guys?

As for the image

I have it all up and running on Vu+ Uno 4k, running kodi/iptv/dreamplex/mounted nas/chromium browser and the full youtube all running fine.

On second thought, if the image somehow is converted from OpenHdf, I guess it won’t work. My other Stb is doing recording all the time and the feature is there but didn’t work. In fact many other image too have this feature and not all are working. So need not test it, I am very sorry to create all this inconvenience to you. Deepest apology. :srry:

i have two small problems in openhdf:one is the font size on the screen of my vu where we can see the information channel.secondly,when I reboot ,VU does not return to the channel that i was watching before rebooting ,and i have to go to the reception list and choose the channel from there.in spite of these minoor problems,your work is excellent keep good work.i like openhdf image.everything works on it.
